"A picture can tell a thousand words, but a few words can change it's story."

–Sebastyne Young

So you’re gift hunting.  Something for a family member.  A sibling, a parent, a niece, a cousin, a sorority sister, a best friend.  Something personal.  Something unique.  Not over-the-top, mind you, but you want to show this person that they are really special to you, and you want it to reflect your experiences together.  A framed picture is a nice gift, and easily accomplished for around $15, but it doesn’t have that creative flair to set it apart.  You need the right touch.  Enter the Photo Quote, by 76th & Newbury.  Simply put, Photo Quotes are the perfect custom gift, a personal connection and visual sentiment in one package.  Choose a quote from our shop, send us your photo, and we’ll put it together for you.  If you don’t see one you like, we can make you a custom quote for a little extra, usually $10-15.  We do Photo Ornaments, too, a perfect Christmas gift!

Not everyone in your family was born there; we each have a chosen family as well.  For every member of your family, there is a Photo Quote.  Is your brother moving away for school or a job?  We’ve got Photo Quotes for brothers.  Grandma’s birthday coming up?  There’s a Photo Quote for that.  Want to show dad that’s he’s the greatest?  We’ve got you covered.  Are you and your best friend headed in different directions after graduation?  Give them a photo gift to keep the bond strong.  Getting married and want to say “thank you” to your in-laws?  Photo Quotes.  There’s a Photo Quote or Photo Ornament for everyone in your family.

How to choose the best photo:
Choose one.  Two if you’re not sure or can’t decide – having a second option is a good idea.  Collages and groups of photos are not.  Sure, a good collage works well on social media or as a standalone picture, but it loses its special qualities when combined with additional sentiment.  Choose a photo that is clear and preferably high quality – we Design Gurus are happy to do some light editing, but if a photo is very dark or very light, not much can be done before image quality is lost.  When choosing a photo of you and the giftee together, choose one where you are close together, with at least some space around your faces to allow for cropping.
