"A picture can tell a thousand words, but a few words can change it's story."
So you’re gift hunting. Something for a family member. A sibling, a parent, a niece, a cousin, a sorority sister, a best friend. Something personal. Something unique. Not over-the-top, mind you, but you want to show this person that they are really special to you, and you want it to reflect your experiences together. A framed picture is a nice gift, and easily accomplished for around $15, but it doesn’t have that creative flair to set it apart. You need the right touch. Enter the Photo Quote, by 76th & Newbury. How to choose the best photo:
Choose one. Two if you’re not sure or can’t decide – having a second option is a good idea. Collages and groups of photos are not. Sure, a good collage works well on social media or as a standalone picture, but it loses its special qualities when combined with additional sentiment. Choose a photo that is clear and preferably high quality – we Design Gurus are happy to do some light editing, but if a photo is very dark or very light, not much can be done before image quality is lost. When choosing a photo of you and the giftee together, choose one where you are close together, with at least some space around your faces to allow for cropping.
